Thank you for your interest in visiting the Netherlands.  VISA BY INTERNET APPOINTMENT ONLY through the appointment system for Schengen visa .

An appointment can NOT be made by sending an e-mail. Appointments can only be made through the above mentioned link. Please note that you can only apply for a Schengen visa at the Netherlands Embassy if the Netherlands is your main destination. It is required that you provide the Embassy with documentation proving that the Netherlands is your main destination (e.g. hotel reservation, flight itinerary, proof of property ownership in the Netherlands). A overview of the documents that you need to bring with you when applying for a visa can be found in the menu at the right.

In general your visa application will be processed within 3 days for Kuwaiti nationals and within 14 days for other nationalities. In some cases the Embassy has to forward the visa application to the competent authorities in The Netherlands or to the Schengen member states for a final decision. In this case it can take between 10 days up to months before the visa can be issued.

Visas can be collected daily between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.

Travellers to Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten and the Caribbean part of the Netherlands

Travellers to Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten and the Caribbean part of the Netherlands can also apply for a visa at the Netherlands Embassy. Application forms can be downloaded from this website, see menu on the right.

Schengen visa Sweden:

Travellers to Sweden can apply for a Schengen visa at the Netherlands Embassy in most cases. If a visa cannot be processed at the Netherlands Embassy, applicants should contact one of the Swedish embassies in the region directly. The application form for Schengen visas can be used.
